Science Club- Monday- A few hints + reminders!

Hi Science Clubbers!

 

Just a super quick reminder that there IS science club this coming Monday (7th March).

 

I have something really fun in store for you… but it is really important that you bring in either a Tea Towel OR a pair of oven gloves!  They won’t get dirty or damaged in any way- you just need something to protect your hands from temperature!

 

We do have a few things in school if your forget to bring one in- but not enough for everyone.  The science clubbers at my old school weren’t able to cope with the temperature without a tea-towel or oven glove- so please make sure you bring one in!

I’m going to leave it a bit mysterious as to what we are doing…  but I can assure you it is all very safe, very fun, and doesn’t involve HEAT or anything hot at all ;-)   Oh, and it may return you slightly hyper to your parents ;-) ;-)

Science Club- 14th Feb- Get Gooey!

Hi 5H,

Just a quick reminder that there is science club tomorrow night (Monday) as usual!

The theme this week is ‘goo’ and, dare I say it… SLIME!

You’ll find out more on Monday, but be prepared to maybe  get your feet (yes, your feet!!! ;-)  ) a bit gooey ;-)

Science Club- Monday- The Pop Factor…

Hey Science Clubbers,

On Monday , we have a super science session planned-  I’m not going to tell you what we are doing, but there is a small hint in the name ;-)

We’ll be outside for some of the time- it’s forecast to be dry but cold- so please make sure you come to school wrapped up warm!

Also- we’ll be using film canisters like the ones I showed you a few weeks ago- if you have any at home that you don’t need, please bring them in- the more we have, the better!

Science Club on Monday- ‘A bridge over troubled water’

Hi Science Clubbers,

I’m just getting everything together for science club on Monday- and I’m sure you are going to love this session which involves strawberry laces, marshmallows,  jelly babies, pasta and potatoes (and more things!) and the session  is called ‘A Bridge over trobuled water’ (a bit of a hint there as to what we will be doing)

But…  I could do with your help!   If you have any toy cars and/or small toy boats etc  could you bring them a couple in on Monday?
